Rice Oil is extracted from the bran or outer coat of the brown rice grain removed during the milling process. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins and essential oils. It finds its use in the cosmetics industry due to the presence of various unsaponifiables and tocotrienols, which act as strong antioxidants that may be more powerful and effective than other forms of vitamin E, such as tocopherols.
